Let’s help fire victims directly and do some good together!
Do you want to help victims of the recent fires directly? Do you know someone who needs help? We want to bring together people with needs and people who want to help meet those needs, so we created this page for that purpose. People who may want to help can complete a form to let us know how they would prefer to help, and people who need help can complete a form to let us know what needs they have.
For example, there was a lady displaced by the fire who had several needs: transportation for chemo treatments, groceries, supplies for her cat, some toiletries, and a new wig. I shared her needs, and several people stepped up to help, which meant she got the support she needed, and no single person was overwhelmed. Someone whose clothes burned up in a fire might need precisely the kind of clothes you’ve got boxed up in your garage and haven’t taken to the thrift store yet.
If you sign up to potentially help, you’ll be notified about needs that match how you said you’d like to help. That doesn’t obligate you to do something. It’s just a way to be informed about opportunities to assist that might be a fit for you.
